Privacy Policy
1. Operator and scope
Operator: Evgenii Sakirkin / Евгений Сакиркин, Russia. Privacy contact: contact@byteatebits.com. This policy covers byteatebits.com and its contact form. External services and games may have separate privacy policies.
2. Data processed
The contact form collects your name, email address, selected subject and message. Do not send identity documents, payment details, health information or other sensitive data. Technical providers may receive your IP address, browser information, request time and information needed to prevent automated abuse.
3. Purposes and legal grounds
Contact information is used to answer your message and discuss the collaboration you propose. Form submission requires separate voluntary consent. It does not subscribe you to advertising or mailing lists. Other legal grounds may apply where processing is necessary for a contract or a legal obligation.
4. Providers and transfers
The current implementation sends messages over HTTPS to a Microsoft Azure service in Canada Central. Google reCAPTCHA loads when you submit the form. Embedded players load after you choose a service; Spotify, Yandex Music, SoundCloud, YouTube and VK have their own policies. Google Fonts and some externally hosted media also receive network requests that may include your IP address and technical information.
5. Retention and deletion
The proposed retention period for enquiries is up to 7 calendar days after receipt, followed by deletion from systems controlled by the operator unless a law or a separately agreed contract requires otherwise. Server, mailbox, logging and backup settings have not yet been verified. Complete deletion of all copies after one week cannot currently be guaranteed. This policy does not implement automatic deletion.
6. Browser storage
Your browser stores the selected language, sound preference and interactive-universe progress. You can remove these through your browser site-data settings. Embedded players and reCAPTCHA may use their own cookies or local storage under their respective policies.
7. Your requests
To request access, correction, deletion or withdrawal of consent, email contact@byteatebits.com with the address used for your message and its approximate date. Do not attach identity documents unless the operator explains why they are necessary. Withdrawal does not affect processing that has another valid legal basis.
8. Security and updates
The operator should restrict access to enquiries, secure accounts and transmission channels, and verify deletion schedules and provider settings. The current version is published on this page. Draft prepared on September 17, 2026.
